One after the other, news are coming out about which phones will get the global MIUI 12.5, most recently the Mi 9T and finally the Mi 9, in a few days, the EU ROM will come, I really hope so. :D

The Redmi Note 5 was launched more than 3 years ago, in March 2018, and to this day it's still not obsolete. I have a copy in my close family circle, and even though I'm in need of a battery replacement, there's no problem with the speed in everyday use, it runs smoothly with MIUI 11 on it.

The arrangement of the cameras..., well, it's not my own idea

The MIUI 12 update started back in January, but was withdrawn due to bootloop errors (it forced a continuous load instead of powering on), but they managed to fix the update bug half a year later.

The update, version V12.0.3.0.PEICNXM, is a stable ROM for China, but it's likely to be the third and last major update for Europe, as I'm pretty sure MIUI 12.5 is no longer on the phone. The version of the security pack that comes with the update is September 2020, so it could be a bit more recent than that...

The second-hand market price is around 30 thousand forints, which is a fair price for such a device.
