Over the last half decade, many people have predicted the disappearance of the tablet, but they have been wrong. It's still with us, and some of the mobile sector's leading manufacturers, such as Xiaomi, which recently launched its latest such device, the Tab 5, are seeing the potential.
So the category is alive and well, which is no coincidence, and in this article we'll take a look at the tasks and uses in which tablets perform exceptionally well. In other words, why you might want to opt for a tablet, and for whom such a machine might be a good choice.
Filming
The tablets undoubtedly its biggest advantage (and disadvantage) compared to traditional smartphones is the larger screen size, which makes it better suited for multimedia content, such as videos, movies or pictures.
Image editing
This is another reason why a tablet is better suited to image editing and imaging than a phone. The larger screen simply shows more, so you can work more accurately.

Video editing should also be highlighted, as the larger screen size means that a tablet is better suited to this task than a traditional mobile phone. That's why professional vloggers and YouTubers have a better tablet in their bag, so they can edit their recorded material at any time. Obviously, a tablet is useless compared to a computer dedicated to professional video editing, but it can be good for editing quick, short videos on the go.

In our experience, reading on a tablet also feels much more comfortable. There is less scrolling, which is good for your quality of life after a while.
Learning
If someone is looking for an effective, easy to carry, easy to use product for learning, with clearly visible diagrams and illustrations, or with easy to highlight text, we can only recommend these products. And if one also connects a keyboard to it, one can type relatively long texts in relative comfort.
Simpler work tasks
This can be very useful when you need to reply to emails or for text-based (chat) communication. With an external keyboard, this can be easily managed even when travelling or on holiday.
Game
This may come as a surprise, but there are certain games that a tablet is better than a phone. For example, there are those racing games where you have to use your phone as a steering wheel to steer the car. But you could also mention FPS/RTS apps like COD: Mobile or Fortnite, which are also often played on a tablet. The screen is bigger and they can put their fingers on it more comfortably, which makes it easier to control.
And what you don't...
But the tablet is not a magic bullet either, and we should not forget that. It is considerably heavier and less comfortable to carry than smartphones. It is also much less suitable for taking photos and videos than its cousins. And we haven't even mentioned the fact that without a headset, you can forget about making phone calls or using voice communication, because it's terribly uncomfortable to hold it up to your head with two hands.
