As of today, the MIUI 14 update (Global EEA), based on Android 13, has finally arrived on all Xiaomi 12 series devices, with one exception. Although not all of them are public yet, they will be on everyone's phone soon!
The Xiaomi 12 Series is even Showed at the end of 2021 and they have been doing quite well since then, in Europe three months later. As a result, they were among the first in Europe to receive the MIUI 14 update. The first in the series, the Xiaomi 12 Lite, which is not so popular in our country, but is in demand abroad. The first Mi Pilot version was released in mid-January, and has since been released to the public at the end of January. It was followed in the queue by the Xiaomi 12 Pro, almost at the same time and a week after the plain Xiaomi 12.
But today, finally, the last model I like, the Xiaomi 12X also received the MIUI 14 update in Mi Pilot edition!

- Searching in Settings is now more advanced. With search history and hit categories, everything now looks sharper.
But that's not all there is to the update, nor what's new in MIUI 14. Although not much has changed at first glance, and most of the new features of MIUI 14 in China have not been included. Apart from a few small things, everything remains the same. But under the hood, there are some changes. The system is faster, more stable, more secure. Android 13 base also adds a lot to performance and power consumption.
I'll also talk a little bit about the Xiaomi 12T family, because it's part of the series, just a subset. A Xiaomi 12T just got the MIUI 14 Mi Pilot test version yesterday, the 12T Pro is unfortunately still on MIUI 13. So be patient, MIUI 14 is coming.
