As stated in earlier Xiaomi announced, the HyperOS update will be available for more phones in December. In China, first a weekly beta, then later a stable update, which will come to us in the first quarter of 2024. But this morning Xiaomi 12 phone owners were happy because the HyperOS update arrived.
The update is up to 5.3 GB in size, which is slightly larger than the usual MIUI updates. Those have never reached the 5 GB limit. This is interesting, as the HyperOS big announcement highlighted that it is smaller than ever. After some nitpicking, let's see what we get in the update.
