Xiaomi has launched its flagship Mi TV for 2017 and it turns out that this is the Mi TV 4, which was first unveiled at CES. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 was certainly a standout product that Xiaomi unveiled at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The flagship product on display was first intended for the Chinese market.

The Mi TV 4's main selling point is that it is ultra-thin at 4.9mm, thinner than the iPhone 7. The smart TV comes in three different sizes: 49 inches, 55 inches and 65 inches. The 65-inch model features a striking modular design, with the motherboard, sound system and large display as three separate components that can be replaced separately. This is truly an innovative design that ensures you don't have to shell out a lot of money to upgrade your smart TV. A simple replacement of the motherboard is enough to upgrade the hardware of your TV. In the same way, the other models are 4.9 mm thin.

The screen resolution can be up to 4K, with an overall spectacular look and lots of amazing features. The Mi TV 4 also features a transparent stand that blends in well with the background, with a modest overall look. Also new is the PatchWall software, a deep learning AI system embedded directly into the TV's operating system. Key features of the software include smart scaling, i.e. sizing the recommendation page to the level of relevance, scrolling infinite recommendations, etc.

That's not all! The Mi TV 4 hardware includes the original Samsung/LG 4K screen, Amlogic 64-bit flagship chip and quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU at 1.8GHz. There's a Mali-T830 2+2 core GPU, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of flash memory. The TV supports HDR, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi, BLE low-power Bluetooth and more.
