The POCO C55 with MIUI dialer is out!

The Xiaomi Poco C55 mobile phone with MediaTek Helio G85 processor and colourful smooth leather back was released in India today, February 21. But the best news, MIUI dialer is back!

The POCO C55 is not a power virtuoso, nor is it intended to be. Although there are many similarities to the Chinese Redmi 12C, it has only changed in appearance. All the parts are the same, even the GSM bands, so it's not EU compatible. It would need a few more freaks, so we're not looking forward to it.

Specification

The phone is equipped with a 6.71-inch 1650×720 pixel display with 60 Hz screen refresh rate, 120 Hz touch sampling rate and a 5 MP waterdrop lens on the front. It features a rear 50 MP main camera + 2 MP depth of field camera, 4/6 GB of memory and 64/128 GB storage expandable via microSD card.

The Poco C55 is equipped with Android 12-based MIUI 13, a 5,000 mAh battery and 10 W charging. It is available in India with three leather backs: blue, black and green.

The POCO C55 in India is quite reasonably priced, even compared to its Chinese brother.

This is the final price, but on the first day, 28 February, it will be something brutally cheap:

MIUI Dialer

Now that's one thing I didn't expect from any global phone. POCO has decided to bring back the well known and loved MIUI dialer in India instead of the Google dialer! Now here it must have occurred to someone that maybe something has been tweaked and it has become compatible with the world. I don't know yet either, but on POCO's Twitter page all users have started claiming it for their existing phones! I'm on pins and needles, I'm so excited and hopeful...
