When the Mi TV Stick was released last year, there were rumours that a beefier 4K version would be coming soon, but we had to wait until now, but here it is!

The new stick looks the same as the old one. It's compact and can be conveniently connected to most TVs. It has the same remote control as the previous version, so there's a built-in microphone and a Netflix or Prime Video button.

The Amlogic S905Y4 SoC is responsible for the performance, which is made up of an ARM Cortex-A35 CPU and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. Alongside these are 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

This time the software is Android 11, with Chromecast support, Google Assistant, and Play Store.

Thanks to the upgraded chip, you can play not only 4K content, but also media with AV1 codecs, and support Dolby Vision, Atmos and DTS HD.

Data connectivity has also changed, with dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 now available.

It also has 1 HDMI port and a MicroUSB connector for power. Accessories include an HDMI extension cable (in case it doesn't fit directly into the TV) and a power cable.

It measures 106.8 x 29.4 x 15.4 mm and weighs 42.8 grams.

Unfortunately, it is currently unknown how much it will cost. It also depends on whether it replaces last year's model or is added to the range.
