Last year Xiaomi launched the Civi range of smartphones, which focuses more on design and the front-facing camera. Now comes the Civi S.

The company is ready to launch the Xiaomi Civi S, the first generation of the Civi an improved version of the second generation Asset. Tipster Digital Chat Station has now shared information about the phone's appearance and availability.

The Xiaomi Civi S smartphone will reportedly be released later this month and will be available for purchase in China from next month. However, exact dates have not yet been disclosed.

As for the design, the smartphone is expected to be similar to the Xiaomi 12-to. The manufacturer is focusing on a slim and lightweight device and an improved front-facing camera sensor.

An earlier leak reveals that the phone will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED LTPO curved sharp display, offering Full HD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Under the hood will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC.

It will be available with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The phone is likely to run Android 12, with the company's own MIUI user interface.

The camera on the back of the Civi S will be a triple camera system. It will consist of a 64 megapixel Samsung GW3 primary camera with OIS support, an 8 megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens and a 2 megapixel black and white camera.

On the front, the device gets a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 sensor for selfies and video calls. The phone runs on a 4500 mAh battery and supports 67 W or 55 W fast charging.
