The Redmi range is anything but expensive. Well, I know, it's a matter of opinion, but in this situation, compared to the competition. Perhaps I wouldn't be far off the truth if I said that Redmi has replaced the mid-range Mi series and is now scrubbing the top end. The Redmi K series is following exactly the same path, with the K20 and Pro versions doing so well that Xiaomi has taken over as Mi 9T and Pro.
And in December 2019, Redmi's rampage into the top-end continued with the launch of the K30, which wasn't so popular because it was known that there would be Pro and 5G versions with better hardware.
This was followed by the Redmi K30 5G, which was powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G mid-range processor, but it didn't become a true flagship either.
And a couple of weeks ago, what almost everyone was waiting for more than the Mi 10 or its clunky Global version arrived. The Redmi K30 Pro has been a real beast, SD865 Soc, big memory, back, very fain camera system, full screen, pop-up selfie camera, etc. Not only in my opinion, but there is real innovation in this, unlike in Xiaomi's new salvation.
And this morning in China, the ZOOM version of the Redmi K30 Pro, which debuted alongside the Pro, was also released in a very special package. The ZOOM differs from the regular Pro version in that instead of a macro lens, it has a high-resolution telephoto lens capable of 30x optical zoom compared to the 64 MP main camera. But now we're getting a special edition, if that's what we need, as the Redmi K30 Pro ZOOM now comes with 12 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage! With this brutal storage you can store up to 51,200 64 MP images! But at what price?

Does it look like much? Compared to what? Huawei, Samsung, Realme, Oppo, etc. with these specs are not only more expensive, but some of them cost almost double. Compared to Chinese prices, of course. As soon as the Redmi K30 Pro and ZOOM phones are announced in Europe, like Xiaomi Mi 10T and 10T Pro, we can compare them with domestic prices. We are eagerly awaiting the announcement!
