I think 23 million (23.000.000) phones sold in 3 months is reason enough to be happy. Especially in light of how bad a year 2016 was for Xiaomi and how this new year started with a lot of hope. Of course, this is due to the new innovative lines, as last year was more about strengthening the mid-range with a lot of variants, which did not help the company's market position.

Xiaomi CEO, Xiaomi's CEO, said that the 23 million phones 70% sold in the second quarter were more than the first 3 months of the year and that this was due to the investment in R&D over the past 2 years. This year, Xiaomi has made huge gains in India. The company has seen an explosive growth of 328% in the country, not to mention record sales of Redmi Note 4 phones and the first Mi Home store opened in Bengaluru 2 weeks ago.

Le Jun is confident that the low point of 2016 will soon be a thing of the past and that the coming months will bring good results for the company. Xiaomi's plan for 2017 is indeed high, with an expected profit of CNY 100 billion ($14.7 billion) this year, while they hope to ship up to 100 million products in 2018.
