We shouldn't be too surprised by the European launch of a phone series already launched in China. And yet, because we're getting one more Xiaomi 13 global version than the Chinese one.
We already know the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro phones, but the Xiaomi 13 Lite variant has been rumoured so far. If the leaker is to be believed, a rahedli rendered image has been obtained from Xaiomi, from all sides!
The Xiaomi 13 Lite is simply the Chinese Xiaomi Civi 2 will be a global version. Then we won't be surprised by that either, because we already know it well.
In addition to the girly pinks, there are of course more masculine colours, because those are the basic colours. But girls are no exception to the target users!
Xiaomi 13 Lite
The Xiaomi 13 Lite has a 6.55″ diameter micro curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels. 10 bit colour depth, 120 Hz refresh, 240 Hz touch sampling, 1920 Hz PWM dimming. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the panel features a fingerprint sensor at the bottom and a tablet-shaped cutout at the top. The DCI-P3 colour gamut covers 100% and can play HDR content (Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+).
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, paired with LPDDR4x memory, UFS 2.2 storage and a stainless VC liquid cooling system. Android 12-based MIUI 13 is included out of the box.
On the back, there is a triple camera system comprising an OIS-enabled 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 20 MP Sony IMX376K ultra-wide unit and a 2 MP GalaxyCore GC02M1 macro mount.
The main highlight of the smartphone is the front-facing camera system. The "tablet" features a dual 32 MP sensor. The main sensor supports auto-focusing, while the secondary sensor is equipped with a 100° ultra-wide angle lens. These two front-facing cameras are accompanied by four LED auxiliary lights, which can operate at different colour temperatures. Xiaomi has also built a number of camera functions into the software to take advantage of the hardware.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC and USB Type-C. Other features include Dolby Atmos supported stereo speaker, linear vibration motor, infrared sensor, 4500 mAh battery and 67 W wired fast charging support.
