The POCO C55 will be the successor to the C50, which was launched in January and will follow the Redmi 12C will be a global version. This is not surprising, since POCO F1 they have no "idea" of their own.

Kínai Redmi 12C nálunk POCO C55 lesz

In September 2022, the device was granted European EEC certification under model number 22127PC95G and has now been approved by the IMDA in Singapore. The IMDA listing does not reveal anything significant about the specifications of the POCO C55. Only that the device supports Bluetooth and WiFi wireless technology. From the rumours surrounding it, it seems that the recently debuted Redmi 12C rebranded version will be.

The Redmi 12C has a 50 MP main camera. The cheapest Redmi hasn't really had a camera this good before, of course it's just one, but maybe in this segment you don't need more. Underneath there is also a 2 MP depth sensor. At its heart is a MediaTek Helio G85, which was previously used in the Redmi 10X and Redmi Note 9. Its screen is huge at 6.71″ but only in HD resolution. The battery is fair though, 5,000 mAh with this kind of iron, it will last 2-3 days of active use. According to the manufacturer, you can get more than 21 days of standby, 20 hours of video or navigation.

The phone is expected to be launched in both global and Indian markets. The Indian model is unlikely to support NFC connectivity. EEC and IMDA certifications predict that the C55 will soon arrive in the global market. Available in China, priced from 30,000 Ft, I'll be curious to see how much it will go up in price by the time it gets here. We'll find out...
