The domestic Xiaomi TV offer very incomplete, compared to the Eastern offer. Redmi TV is like a block of nothing. But if we look at the new and huge Eastern range, this is what caught my eye today.
The Redmi MAX range only includes TVs with a guarded screen, we've seen it in 98″ size, with average features and a huge price tag. But available from today out comes the Redmi MAX 90, which is already worth a shot.
It's OK that this big beast is only 7.999 Juan ~ 391.900 Ft, but it has some excellent features. 90″ is 228.6 cm is a nice big size, but at least UHD 4K resolution (2160p) with direct illumination / DLED backlight. Although 8K would be nice in this size, but it comes at a price. 144Hz refresh rate is already enough to run any movie smoothly without lag. Average brightness is 700 nit, with a peak of 800 nit, which gives an excellent picture in any lighting conditions.
Processing is aided by the 4-core A73 processor, which is accompanied by 3 GB of memory and 32 GB of back-up storage. The TV runs the usual Android TV, with Xiaomi's own interface. For wireless connectivity, it also supports Wi-Fi 6, backwards compatible with 2.4 and 5G, of course. There's no shortage of wired connections either, with 1x HDMI2.0, 1x HDMI2.1, 1x USB2.0, analogue and digital antenna. For performance, I left out that the response time of the TV is 5 ms, so it's fine for gaming.
