Two new Mi Stores to open in Europe this May

Every day we could write about new store openings in the Eastern region, with new Mi Store stores opening in the major countries, China, India, Hong Kong, etc., almost on a non-daily basis. But for us the existence of these stores is not so relevant, unlike in Europe.

In Europe, the first big Mi Store opened in Spain last year, since then another one has opened in Spain, and last week in the Czech Republic. The next Mi Store is due to open in France, with a new one to be added on 22 May 2018. The first official store will be in Paris, but there are also rumours that stores are planned to open in other major cities across the country. In addition to phones and accessories, they plan to bring the full Ecosystem range.

The upcoming Mi Store will also be the first in the country to open. Soon after the Spanish store, the official Mi Store will open in Milan, Italy, on 25 May. The recruitment and selection of staff to fill the jobs has already started in January. 5 jobs are planned, one manager and 4 sales people. The selection of the manager had to meet a number of criteria, with a minimum of five years of experience in structured technology companies, a deep knowledge of the entire Xiaomi ecosystem and key technology trends. The incumbent will be responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of the entire Xiaomi product range, selling products including the entire process and excellent speaking skills. There is no exact information yet on the structure of the Spanish Mi Store, but it will be similar to the French one, so anything that can speak English (French) or doesn't need a language will be fine.
