This morning another rumour has hit the net about a new Xiaomi tablet that will have a 12.5″ screen. Will it be the Xiaomi Pad 7?
Last week, a new Xiaomi tablet with model number 24018RPACC passed the Chinese national quality certification. Not much was revealed from the document, only the charging power, which is 5VDC 3A, 11VDC 6A, 20VDC 6A and 120 W of power. This is in line with my favourite blogger's post about a new 12.5″ diagonal Xiaomi tablet.
DCS's rather terse but to-the-point post reveals some news. Until now, the rumors were about a new tablet with a 10" screen diagonal, which was referred to as the Xiaomi Pad 7 / Pro. It is also possible that it is also in the works, but now a 12.5″ tablet has been discussed. The above document 120 W charging returns here, with the size of the screen. But it also mentions the aspect ratio, which is 16:10. It's pretty big, slightly taller than the usual 16:9 widescreen. But to the chagrin of many, the screen technology may be LCD, but it will tick at least at 144 Hz. And the power is the previous flagship, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be provided.
But which tablet will it be? Opinions are divided, but what makes it a little clearer is that the Xiaomi Pad 7 will Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. According to some, the machine described above will still be a member of the current family, called Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. We'll see.
