According to a post on Weibo, MIUI has confirmed that MIUI developers have started working on MIUI 9. The upcoming MIUI 9 will have a simpler user interface compared to the current MIUI 8. Improving the performance, stability and power consumption of Mi devices are the top priorities for MIUI 9, along with adding new features.
