Xiaomi is famous for its fitness bracelets, the Mi Band series. Of course, starting with the Series 5 in Europe, it got a "Smart" addition, just to be sure. So far, Redmi, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, has not released its own wearable smart device in our country. But you can now see it renamed Redmi Watch = Mi Watch Lite. But a couple of days ago, the new Mi Redmi Watch 2 Lite the first bracelet, the Redmi Smart Band Pro.

Redmi Smart Band Pro

Redmi's smartwatch came out of nowhere, like Redmi's first watch. The announcement is yet to be made, and so is the official price. But we already know everything about it, because the official global site you can now find the full specification.

The two new Redmi portable gadgets are a perfect match, with very similar designs and features. While the watch has a larger display but with TFT technology, the bracelet has a smaller screen but at least an AMOLED display. The watch has GPS, but the bracelet, supports more sports. So between the two, it's easy to choose what you need. We don't even have a clue about the price, and until the launch it's a waste of guesswork.

But it does make you wonder where the name comes from and why there is no predecessor? The "Pro" sign at the end could mean there is a plain version of this, but there isn't. Or at least not to be found and still hidden. This doesn't reflect well on the company in Europe, they shouldn't be so chaotic in sticking names on products...
