Many people are probably familiar with the term dummy model. Dummy phones look exactly the same and are the same size as the model in question, but there is one difference. They don't work and are made so that case and film companies can release their new products by the time the phone is released. Other dummy devices available for example on Aliexpress 8-10 thousand forints.

Dummy Xiaomi 11

Similar pictures of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, but in aluminium, have been leaked by Digital Chat Staion on Weibo. According to the leaker, the main camera will be 50 MP, in addition to an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens.

Do you remember the Mi 11 Ultra on your camera lens?

Now, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is even more brutal, as it takes up about 1/3 of the back of the phone.

In the side view, you can see how the camera is again protruding from the back. The design may already be familiar, a circular camera was already on the Redmi K30 Pro, which was released globally as Poco F2 Pro, so it is also available in Hungary.

There are no further details, but one thing is for sure: the camera will once again play a central role. The Mi 11 Ultra is still in second place on DXOMark's top list, beaten only by the Huawei P50 Pro, although it was released in March last year. It will almost certainly get Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 gen 1 chip, and will probably sport a 1440p AMOLED display on the front.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2022, and could be Xiaomi's big bang for the 2022 MWC. As for the price... I wouldn't even hazard a guess.
