The Chinese Redmi Note 9 family is officially announced, three are coming, but not renamed POCO M3!

As I mockingly remarked earlier, we may be witnessing a renaming, but it seems I was wrong. This morning, the Chinese Redmi Note 9 family was officially announced, only it will be similar to the POCO M3, which was unveiled two days before.

This morning, graphics by young designers were posted on Redmi's Weibo page, announcing the arrival of the Note 9 series.Three new Redmi Note 9 phones will be unveiled on 26/11/2020 at 8pm, 1pm here.

Then, an hour later, the official poster arrived, confirming what we already knew - three new Redmi Note 9 phones are being unveiled:

• Redmi Note 9 4G
• Redmi Note 9 5G
• Redmi Note 9T 5G (but can also be called Pro)

The Redmi Note 9 4G is likely to get the latest and most powerful 4G-capable processor, making it the cheapest, most cost-effective Redmi Note 9 phone. The next, the regular 5G will get the Dimensity 800U 5G-capable chipset, that's for sure, and will get Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 5G processor, the most expensive and most powerful.

The POCO M3 will not be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9, according to the latest leaked image, although it is very similar, but there are small differences on the back. According to rumours, the POCO, like the Redmi Note 9, will only be 4G capable, so the price will be quite affordable. We'll find out next week!
