All updates, improvements and new features will be released in the Chinese weekly beta rom, not counting the internal test versions. It is usually released weekly on Thursday and In China anyone can still participate in the testing. The internal beta versions are a different story, as they are released on Tuesday and are available daily. The latest internal version hides the essence of what has just been leaked.
Chinese MIUI 12.5 is much more advanced than what you can see here at home in the Global Stable systems. It's not gutted, nor stuffed with bloatware Google stuff, its performance is much better and bug-free. Now, back to the latest Chinese internal beta update, we always get the change log to keep us aware of the changes.
MIUI 12.5 21.12.8 changes
- Due to a change in the software system architecture, the MIUI development version 12.13 will be suspended for a while, always believe that good things will happen
- Due to the major Android version update, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Mi 10 Youth Edition, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will be temporarily suspended from 13 December 2021
- Due to a major Android version update, Redmi Note 10 will suspend internal test release from 29 November 2021
So starting next week, they will stop releasing the Chinese weekly beta MIUI 12.5 and focus on the MIUI 13 public beta update. In addition, the aforementioned phones will get a new Android base, which is only good news, because the global versions will probably get it too. Of course, only in 2022, in a stable version.
