Xiaomi Smart Band 8 revealed with real pictures

A few weeks ago, I was hoping that Xiaomi would flash its new wristband, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, at this year's MWC. But sadly it didn't, the bracelet is not ready to be unveiled yet. But now the Korean NRRA certificate has been released and two pictures have been attached!

The upcoming Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has received certification from NRRA Korea , as well as released some raw images of the upcoming bracelet. The certification hardly says anything concrete about the device, but the images reveal a lot of unknowns. According to the NRRA, the bracelet will feature Bluetooth 5.1 and house a DC 3.87V polymer Li-ion battery. Also shown in the pictures is the detachable strap.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8, model M2239B1, offers some visual changes, including a new strap design. Unlike the previous single, full-body strap, there is now a two-piece detachable strap that attaches to the primary body of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, like the Redmi Watch 3, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro, the upcoming Redmi Watch 3 Lite or any other watch that has a detachable strap.

On the back we see two rubberized pads (it seems) and slightly changed sensors compared to the Xiaomi Smart Band 7. You can also see the hooks of the straps in the photos. Also, the size seems similar to its predecessor, but no actual details are available yet.

These are some of the changes we have noticed in the available images. According to leaked information, it seems to bring all the general fitness tracking features and a large display. The fitness band is already beyond TDRA certification and appears to be nearing launch. Mass production of the device has already begun.
