The latest information from Geekbench suggests that Xiaomi is working on its third generation of phones for gamers, after the Black Shark and Black Shark Helo, which will presumably be called the Xiaomi Black Shark Skywalker. According to the test, the motherboard of the Black Shark Skywalker is named "msmnile", which refers to the code name of the Snapdragon 855 SoC.

The device we tested had 8 GB of RAM. The benchmark values are quite impressive, considering that the first-generation Xiaomi Black Shark was the AnTuTu leader for several months. The Skywalker scored 3,494 points in the single-core tests and 11,149 points in the multi-core tests, which is similar to the Snapdragon 855-equipped phones on Geekbenchen's list.

It is very important to note that not all phones with Snapdragon 855 chipset support 5G network. The chispset with Snapdragon X50 LTE modem supports only 5G network, X24 LTE modems support only 4G LTE, but offer top level SD855 performance. The official release date, price and appearance of the Xiaomi Black Shark Skywalker are not yet known.
