POCO X5 Pro 5G coming on 6 February

The launch date of the POCO X5 series I wrote it wrong, as it was not presented at today's POCO meeting. But now at least concrete proof has been released online, with the date of the POCO X5 Pro 5G unveiling. Sorry...

In India, the Poco X5 Pro 5G phone is advertised with a famous sportsman. "Hardik Himanshu Pandya (born 11 October 1993) is an Indian international cricketer. A versatile player, he bats right-handed and throws a fast-medium ball with his right arm. Pandya has played in all three formats for India. The phone itself has long since been unmasked and it is now clear that the POCO X5 Pro 5G is in the hands of the athlete. Of course, the design was very familiar and it was already revealed to be a global version of the Chinese Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition.

The Redmi Note 12 already shows that it wants to be a POCO. The back design almost screams it. It didn't take too much of an idea for the Indian design engineers and designers to make it look more POCO. Well, they didn't have sleepless nights...

But the point is just coming! As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, this would be the evidence that would give me the exact date of the launch. This picture was taken in a movie theatre in India, after a movie, Hardik Himanshu Pandya reappears in a Flipkart ad. And in his hand is the POCO X5 Pro 5G phone, with the date next to it: Monday 6 February 2023. So there are almost two weeks to go until the launch. Until then, don't sit on pins and needles, because all we're getting is a yellow Redmi Note 12. Okay, since we don't have that yet, it'll be fine in POCO.
