The latest version of MIUI, 12.5, is on the way, the stable version, which is the only official system available for Xiaomi phones in Hungary.

MIUI 12.5 is already available in China, albeit in Beta, since December. The official system in Europe, the Global MIUI Stable AAE version, will have to wait, as it will be released in China first and then the gutted global version will arrive.

In China, you have to wait until exactly 30 April if you follow the stable branch there. The following phones will be the first to get the eastern version:

  • Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
  • Xiaomi Mi 10
  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro
  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Edition
  • Xiaomi Mi 11

Usually, after the Chinese release, the global release is expected after 1 week, so we can say for sure that MIUI 12.5 updates will be released in Hungary in May!

Now for the second round of phones, which Chinese fans can expect to see at the end of May:

  • Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
  • Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro
  • Xiaomi Mi 10S
  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G
  • Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro
  • Redmi K40 Pro
  • Redmi K40
  • Redmi K30 Pro
  • Redmi K30 5G
  • Redmi K30i 5G
  • Redmi K30 Extreme Edition
  • Redmi K30S Extreme Edition
  • Redmi 10X
  • Redmi 10X Pro
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro

So the second round is expected in June, of course taking into account the Chinese and European models, renaming. Of course, the update schedule for Indian and European models may differ from this, and then the global Xiaomi will announce its own list, so be patient!
