Every Mi Band launch so far has been preceded by dubious and unreliable rumours, but now there's only speculation and fake pictures. By now, we've slowly learned everything about the upcoming fitness bracelet, so let's see what it has to offer.

For me, the biggest surprise among the new sport modes is Ping Pong, as I've been playing it for years, so I can finally keep track of my training and competitions. In addition, tennis, skipping rope, basketball, yoga and rowing bench are also new.

In addition to the new sport modes, there will also be a new women's health feature to help lady fans monitor their cycles, specifically with a menstrual calendar. The 20% will have a larger screen than the Mi Band 4, with more professional sensors, so it will also have a new function, and even a blood-oxygen level measurement. Using a pulse oximeter, the bracelet will measure the amount of oxygen in our blood, which is very important for the functioning of our cells.

The big new feature of the Mi Band 5 is the magnetic charging head, which means you don't have to take the main unit out of the strap, just slide the charger onto the back and it charges.

Something like this :)

The Mi Band 5 will theoretically only come in NFC version, we'll find out on Thursday. As with the NFC version 4, it can only be used in China for UnionPay card authentication. Rumours are swirling that it will be possible to add other bank's cards, with the more daring even suggesting Europe. Let us not get ahead of ourselves and cherish our dreams.
