Robotic vacuum cleaners started to appear a few years ago, when they were a real luxury item. Some of the smarter ones were worth the price of a used car, so few people in our country could afford them. In addition, the technical possibilities and the efficiency of the vacuum cleaner at the time left something to be desired. It was about 2-3 years ago that cheaper, Chinese appliances started to appear. Xiaomi joined them in September 2016 with the first generation MiJia robotic vacuum cleaner. Even then, it stood out from the crowd, as it did much more than much of the competition for its price, at a higher price. No wonder that since its launch it has been extremely popular in its home country and in many countries around the world. Hungary was no exception. A year later, another sub-brand was introduced, the Roborock Sweep One. It featured a mopping function and an extended map mode. Then, in early March 2018, the third model, Xiaowa, arrived, which is the cheapest device in the Xiaomi ecosystem (in its home country). Not only can it do (almost) the same as the more expensive models, but the dust tank has the largest capacity of the trio.

We have covered all three robotic vacuum cleaners in quite detailed reviews, as well as in written and video tests (use the search engine if you're curious). In addition, we are now also comparing the three in video form, in a helloxiaom exclusive version of course.

Today's fresh and official news is that on 8 May, Xiaomi will unveil a new robotic vacuum cleaner.

As our tests have shown, today's smart robotic vacuum cleaners are becoming more and more efficient, and the development of artificial intelligence is opening up new possibilities.
Interestingly, the first-generation Xiaomi MiJia robot vacuum cleaner scored 9.1 in the Battery and robot vacuum cleaners.com in an independent test, which was good enough for first place in the under €400 category. This is a very convincing argument for buying it, as it beat big names like the famous iRobot Roomba 980.

The manufacturer's first poster only gives details of the date and the manufacturer, no further information is available at the moment. Could it be a still well-priced model, but already equipped with a map and LDS?
