Already last week, the Mi Charge Turbo, a new generation of fast charging technology, was announced for today. We predicted then that it was likely to be a response to Huawei's superfast charging.

In due course, this morning in China, the Chairman of Xiaomi's Technical Committee announced Xiaomi's first ultra-fast wireless charging technology capable of 30W charging.

So far, many known/unknown manufacturers offer wireless charging pads with up to 30 W charging, but the answer is Huawei's charger...

The Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo can half charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 25 minutes and fully charge it in 69 minutes, which is quite a long time in this fast-paced world. At the same time, Xiaomi has announced that the Mi Charge Turbo will first make its debut in Xiaomi's next 5G-capable phone, which we've been mistakenly calling the Xiaomi Mi 9s. The name was revealed this morning, so as of today we know the official name: Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro!

The next Mi series phones will feature the new development, reverse wireless charging, charging kit for 5G phones. In addition, it was announced that work is already underway on 40W wireless charging technology.
