Xiaomi launched a new Bluetooth headset at the end of March. The 'sport' name and design language used on the previous model was dropped in favour of a much more sophisticated, simpler design. The renewed product is simply the Mi Bluetooth (LYXQEJ01JY) earphones is called. The shape is designed to adapt to the shape of the neck, as if it were just a more iron necklace. It weighs only 40g, which is not even noticeable after several hours of use. This makes it even more comfortable for sports than its predecessor.
The manufacturer claims that the sound has been improved and the technical solutions have been refined. Support for connecting two devices in HFP mode.
The neck section is rubberised and inside the strap is a 137mAh battery that can be charged via the microUSB port. With this power, you can listen to music for 8 hours, talk for 10 hours or standby for 200 hours.
Bluetooth 4.1 can be used for phone connectivity. Available in China from 3 April at price $47. Of course webshops will sell it for more, but that's below.
