Finally, some tangible evidence has emerged that Redmi will come out with an entry-level tablet. It's likely, or rather certain, that the first Redmi tablet will be cheap, but powerful enough.
Xiaomi has been rumoured to be working on two tablet sizes recently. One is a 12.4″ LTPS LCD (low-temperature polysilicon) screen with 2800 x 1752p resolution, and the other is a 10.61 inch a-Si LCD ( amorphous silicon liquid crystal display) screen. The larger one is likely to be Xiaomi's next tablet Pad 6 will be, while the smaller one will be Redmi's entry-level tablet. Unlike the Xiaomi Pad series, it will not use a Snapdragon processor, but the MediaTek Xun Kun chip, but its type is still unknown.
And now for the facts. The Redmi Pad won't just be "only for you", it will be released worldwide. You can see it in the picture above FCC certification has already been approved in the US. The certification reveals a few things about the tablet, including a 7,800 mAh battery capacity, Wi-Fi 5/6 support, BlueTooth 5.2 and MIUI 13 for Pad. Well, that's not much, but at least it's tangible proof.
