The Xiaomi 12 family is growing, although not all of its members will reach us. We can only hope to see the recently unveiled Xiaomi 12S family live. But something hasn't even been unveiled yet, but there's already a new one on the doorstep, the Xiaomi 12 Lite!
Xiaomi's global site has been going on about the new phone, but only quietly. We already know everything about the phone, as the full specs are out there. The Xiaomi 12 Lite only resembles the "big brothers" in the camera sensor design. The case design is more like the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro+.
Moving a little further in, a mediocre phone starts to emerge. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778, which is one of the best in the mid-range. It comes with a huge pixel count front and rear camera. On the back, there's a Samsung 108 MP main camera, 8 MP super wide-angle and an all-important 2 MP macro.
Once you've laughed your way through the selfie camera, you won't. The 32 MP sensor is a big hit and the 5P lens makes for some fantastic pictures. If that wasn't enough, you get 2 of those 2 LED flashes and a back-up light to go with the selfie camera! And it's not over yet. The software can track your eyes, so you can keep your images and video sharp at all times. You can say you're always in the picture.
The screen is average, with a 6.55″ AMOLED Dot Display, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos support and other goodies. It's protected against scratches by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5. But you can credit it with a hidden fingerprint reader underneath. The slim body packs just 4,300 mAh battery, which you can fully charge in up to 41 minutes with 67W of turbo charging.
It's going to be a pretty cool phone if it's priced like this. Although it's not available here yet, it's available through global channels. And at the following prices:

Now! that's just great! These are reasonable prices and I think very good prices. We will wait for the domestic prices and release and take a closer look. In the meantime, be patient, Xiaomi is here!
