The most popular benchmarking website, Antutu.com has released its top 10 list of the most popular smartphones of 2017. Last year was a very difficult year for the industry, with full display now not only appearing in the top models, but also in the mid and low-end.

The top 10 chart consists of the most popular Android smartphones based on fan ratings in China. Most strikingly, three OnePlus models came out on top among the 10 smartphones listed. The OnePlus 5 is one of the most popular smartphones in 2017, based on AnTuTu ratings, with a score of 95.37%. The second place is taken by OnePlus' 2016 model, the OnePlus 3, with a rating of 94.28%. The third place was taken by the flagship MeizuPro 6 Plus, Meizu's most popular product. Fourth place is held by yet another OnePlus model, the OnePlus 3T, also released in 2016. Xiaomi joins the list in fifth place with the Mi Max phablet, with three other Xiaomi models also making the list, the Redmi Note 3 in 7th place, the Mi 6 in 9th and the Redmi 4 completing the list in 10th place.

Samsung didn't perform well in China either and this is reflected in the rankings as the popular Galaxy S8 only managed to make it into the list in 6th place. The large Galaxy S8+ came in at number 8, but the Galaxy Note 8 is nowhere to be found. All in all, Xiaomi and OnePlus are the biggest winners as they both have the largest number of models and are fan favourites.
