Aqara is perhaps already the largest smart device manufacturer among Xiaomi's subsidiaries. Their range of products is extensive, from switches to power sockets to door locks, they have light bulbs, curtain motors, vibration sensors, water sensors and more. But they have a separate package that is, in essence, specifically designed for the bedroom.
The Aqara Bedroom package includes the following tools:
- Wall-mountable smart socket
- Wall-mountable smart double switch
- Some smart switch
- Smart switch two
- Air conditioning controller
- Motion sensor
- Motion sensor stand
- Temperature, humidity and air pressure sensor
- Two-sided stickers
- Screws
You can also find Aqara devices in the Mi Home app under the China region, as most of our devices are from there, we use them there. It is not located in the EU region. But since the company has its own control software, you can download it from the Play Store and App Store. The apps require Android 4.0 and iOS 8 or later on the phone/tablet.
The size of the built-in socket and switch is not the usual "panel" size, but much larger (78 mm), so it can be difficult to install in older homes. However, the other units can easily be placed almost anywhere. The forks on the air conditioning controller are not the usual ones we have been used to, but are thicker, as they have a voltage tolerance of 16 A, so we need to buy a separate converter for them.
The package is not yet available in our country, the xiaomishop.hu we borrowed it from an online shop and if there is enough interest in the package, they will add it to the offer.
