Recently Xiaomi started to release the latest MIUI version 13 not only in China, but also in Europe. Some of the lucky firsts are only getting Android 11 for now, with an Android 12 update expected later. Not so for a budget Redmi, however: the Redmi 10 has received an Android 12-based MIUI 13 update.
It is a stable beta
The update includes firmware version V13.0.1.0.SKUMIXM and is available in the Global Region. The full ROM is 2.7 GB and comes with the January security patch. The stable beta designation means that only a subset of users will get it at first, and then everyone else will be able to get it once it's bug-free.

However, the changelog doesn't mention all the new features that MIUI 13 brings, but some new wallpapers are expected after the update.
The Redmi 10 is a fairly recent release, launched in August 2021, is the first budget phone to run MIUI 13 outside China. It was first released with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, the first Android and MIUI update, so it was no surprise that the Redmi 10 received an Android 12-based MIUI 13 update.
Xiaomi is preparing to release a 2022 version of the phone, which seems to be the case for now, nem will be very different from last year's model.
The Redmi 10 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, with a choice of 64 or 128 GB of internal storage and 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The display is FHD+ at 90Hz. It has a 5000mAh battery and is capable of 18W fast charging. The main camera is 50 megapixels, with an 8 megapixel ultra wide, a 2 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel depth of field unit. The front camera is also 8 megapixels.
