Now that the first beta version of Android 11 saw the light of day, once again, as every year, lists started to circulate, wondering which phones would get the coveted system. Xiaomi-themed Facebook groups also posted the list, which was written by several Hungarian phone news portals based on pocketnow.com.

The first and most important: Xiaomi has not yet released any information about which devices will get Android 11, so all lists are speculative! This fact is usually mentioned by the writer of the articles somewhere in the course of writing, but if you look at the source with a knowledgeable eye, you will see that there are several obvious devices missing from the Xiaomi and Redmi phones, so I have tried to compile the most likely list based on information from previous years.

What can be adjusted to is that Redmi devices usually get 1 major Android version, while Mi and Black Shark devices get 2 major Android version updates. These have now been joined by the Poco series and the top end of the Redmi range, these are the most in question.

Based on these, here is the list:

  • Wed 10
  • Mi 10 5G
  • Mi 10 Pro
  • Mi 10 Pro 5G
  • Mi 10 Lite 5G
  • Mi 10 Youth Edition
  • Wed 9
  • Mi 9 Explorer Edition
  • Mi 9 Lite
  • Mi 9 Pro
  • Mi 9 Pro 5G
  • Mi 9 SE

  • Redmi K30 5G
  • Redmi K30 5G Racing
  • Redmi K30 Pro
  • Redmi K30 Pro Zoom
  • Redmi K30i 5G
  • Redmi K20
  • Redmi K20 Pro
  • Redmi K20 Pro Premium
  • Redmi 9
  • Redmi 10X 5G
  • Redmi 10X Pro 5G
  • Redmi Note 9
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro

  • Poco X2

  • Black Shark 2
  • Black Shark 2 Pro
  • Black Shark 3
  • Black Shark 3 Pro

This list also hypothesis! However, as I wrote, based on the past years, these phones are the most likely to get Android 11.

Anyone who is enterprising and has a suitable device can test the Android 11 beta, because in addition to the usual Google devices, as last year, some non-Pixel phones have been added to the test devices. This list includes the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Poco F2 Pro.
