The Xiaomi 12 family will launch later this year, in December, along with MIUI 13. We already know a lot about it, from rumours and leaked information. Although there are still only speculations and imaginary render images about its looks, this morning 3 cases have been leaked, which are supposed to be the Xiaomi 12 / Pro / Ultra cases.
The image above is also just an imaginary rendering, but it may be very close to reality. The cases that leaked this morning may also be based on just that and printed by enthusiastic Chinese. But the Xiaomi Ultra's case is so creepy it might be real.
Xiaomi 12 / Pro

The Xiaomi 12 and Pro cases are very similar, with only minor differences. The triple camera set is there, but the cutout of the plain 12's dual LED flash is thinner. Presumably the Pro will not only have 2 LEDs but also laser AF.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra could be very different from what we're used to. Although a circular camera layout is nothing new, not just from the competition, in-house either. But this... this is something amazing. 6, that's six cameras on the back! This could include the 108 MP Samu camera, plus the 50, telescopic zoom camera, ultra-wide, macro, depth sensor. Dual LED flash, laser AF. Compared to the predecessor, this one doesn't have a secondary display on the back.
I will be curious to see if the Xiaomi 12 / Pro / Ultra case is true or not. We'll find out soon enough, they'll unveil the phones in December, or we can only hope. The Mi 11 phone was unveiled on December 28, 2020 and the Mi 11 Ultra in March 2021. If we go by that, we'll have to wait.
Xiaomi 12 Specifications
From the specifications of the Xiaomi 12, one thing is for sure, the SoC that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will be. That's for sure. The rest is just speculation, but mostly this close to the launch, it's already outlined. The screen could be a 6.67″ AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. With 6/8 and maybe 12 GB LPDDR5 memory and 128/256 GB UFS3.1 storage. Camera quad could consist of 50 MP main camera, 13 MP ultra wide and 5 MP macro and 20 MP selfie camera. Its 5,000 mAh battery will charge in up to 20 minutes with the new 100 W charging technology, but there are rumours that there will also be wireless charging at 50 W. Another big rumour is that the fingerprint reader will be under the screen. At launch, it might be showing off the new MIUI 13, but for now it only has MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11.
