As many of us know, China is now facing a huge virus epidemic, which has already hit several cities. The coronavirus has already infected nearly 1,000 people and has now claimed the lives of 25 people. It is not uncommon in Eastern culture for people to wear medical masks, where it is accepted that if you are sick you protect other people, and in times of minor epidemics, healthy people wear them as a preventive measure.
Xiaomi has always made a huge effort in such cases, providing the right tools to help Chinese people in special cases. Where it has provided appliances to those in need, it is now sending medical equipment to the epidemic prevention and control centre in Wuhan. The package includes N95 masks, medical masks and thermometers worth 300,000 Yuan ~ 13,153,375 Ft (13 million HUF).
The coronavirus, which is known to cause a specific case of deadly pneumonia, is said to originate from the Chinese city of Wuhan. The city is under blockade, with all flights and long-distance transport suspended indefinitely. Wuhan is the seventh most populous city in China, with more than 11 million inhabitants. Given that most of these residents are not allowed to leave the city until the epidemic is under control, outside help is certainly welcome.
