At the recent China Mobile Global Partner Conference, Xiaomi was joined by several other Chinese mobile manufacturers to showcase their new SD855 processor-based Qualcomm devices, which now support 5G networks. As we know, Xiaomi was the first mobile manufacturer to announce a commercially available 5G device, this version of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3.

Externally, there's nothing different from previous releases, but inside, the new Qualcomm processor is already humming away in the 5G-capable version. The new SoC's X50 LTE module enables the new bandwidth, which now offers download speeds of up to 2 Gbps. Thanks to the polymer cooling technology used in aviation, its high heat dissipation ensures the right user experience with constant 5G use.

The phone is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2019, equipped with Android 9 based MIUI 10, 10 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. Rumours say it might be the first in Europe!
