Xiaomi is still a young startup company, 10 years old and nowhere near the big names like Samsung, Apple, Huawei, etc. But as in recent years, it is proving time and again that its dreams are coming true, climbing up the charts. Globally, it is already the fourth manufacturer, but so far it has been nowhere compared to the companies in the Eastern market.
So far. But now, according to the latest surveys, it has caught up with the biggest Chinese global companies and landed in the top five, up from 11th last year. Huawei is the sole dominant player in China, with Lenovo slightly behind, although it has made significant progress. Alibaba is steady in third, with little performance compared to last year, but the biggest surprise alongside Xiaomi is ByteDance, who have broken so quickly with their TikTok app. If we look only at the category, Xiaomi is third in the list, achieving a great position not only in the Eastern region but also in the whole world.
