According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi cars are equipped with 101 kWh battery, and support 800 V high voltage fast charging. According to Shanghai Securities News today, Xiaomi Auto's Tongzhou manufacturing base has entered the final stages of production and commissioning. Xiaomi CEO, President of Xiaomi Group, recently asked Xiaomi Auto's top executives to complete the summer test drive. The testing of the new cars in Xinjiang will start as soon as possible after obtaining the relevant approvals to ensure the mass production of the new vehicles is effective.
According to reports, the complete base comprises six workshops, including press moulding, stamping, bodywork, painting, final assembly and battery. The die-casting workshop features a "Xiaomi Super Large Die-casting" sign, which means Xiaomi cars can use advanced integrated die-casting technology similar to Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory.
