We recently looked at what the Roidmi S2, and I also mentioned driverless vacuum cleaners in general. Today we're talking about the Roidmi X30 Pro, one of the most aggressive vacuum cleaners currently available from the manufacturer.

Floor cleaning brush
First, of course, you get a floor cleaning brush that looks like this.
I think it works better than the Roidmi S2, I prefer this design.
Roidmi itself says it can clean all kinds of surfaces thanks to its V-shaped brush.
It has its own engine and this time we also get LED lighting to keep you in the dark.

If you have a floor cleaning brush, you get a push tube to vacuum in the traditional sense.
Also included in the box is the mat cleaning brush, which is simply brilliant, and even more effective than the S2 thanks to the higher suction power.
We also have a crevice cleaner head, although this time the brush design is different. It's a matter of taste and use, which is preferable.
A new feature is this flexible tube, which is really useful for animal hairbrushes.
And yes, there's a so-called animal hair brush, which gives you an idea of what you're getting into, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
We can't forget that the X30 Pro comes with a MOP as a factory accessory, so it's also suitable for wiping, but more on that later.
We also get a charger and the dock that comes with it.
There are two ways to charge it: either by using the dock, which is absolutely convenient,
because it can be charged immediately after cleaning, or via the connector on the top, which means it is fully portable.
Last but not least, there is a small folder with some papers.
Since I received a Chinese version for testing, it was completely Chinese, but as in the previous case, now I link you the PDF version, which will be in Hungarian.
And if you buy it, you get the global version, with an EU charger, and certainly with a Hungarian manual, but I don't know that for sure. The point is that there are instructions in Hungarian.
What is more interesting is the bird brush. I cannot stress enough how important this tool is, the alpha and omega of maintenance.
Now that we've gone through the list of accessories, let's look at the device itself.
The vacuum cleaner, from the outside
The display is located on the front of the vacuum cleaner. Yes, it has an OLED display, and it's in colour!
It displays the suction mode, the charge level, and various warnings, and also shows you the calories burned after vacuuming, which you can view in the app.
Above it is the power button, the suction power control and the charging socket.
On the left is the air outlet, and below that is the 0.55-litre dust container.
Last, but not least, the suction port through which the dirt collected by the head is sucked in, and the power supply for the motorised brushes is also provided through this port.
Specifications
Let's see what it can do, on paper first.
It has a total power of 435W and a suction power of 150AW. The brushless motor, which is responsible for the drive, has a speed of 120,000 rpm. The battery is 72 watt-hour, with a capacity of 2500mAh, and Roidmi makes a special mention of the fact that it has equipped the vacuum cleaner with LG and Samsung batteries.
In standard mode, it has a battery life of 70 minutes and a charging time of 2.5 hours.

Pet hair brush
It comes with a pet hair brush, which wouldn't be a bad thing in principle, but it didn't work for me. Try as I might, I didn't have a pleasant outcome. Cirmi and Durmi refused to take part in this horror, even though their names suggest they should be compatible.
It must be a question of education, in our country the sight of a vacuum cleaner makes them want to migrate, even if it makes a noise, so it's no wonder they didn't want to try this strange thing.

You can vacuum for 70 minutes in standard mode, 40 minutes in medium mode and 10 minutes in max mode. That means there's plenty of cocoa to clean the whole apartment.
Of course, you can also do the matrix cleaning separately, so uptime is not a problem for larger residences. The medium mode is best for larger dirt and the max mode is recommended for mat cleaning.
ZiWei, Novaron ion
It's also worth mentioning the ZiWei cleaning system, as the X30 Pro is also equipped with it. Basically, it's the main feature of the Roidmi Zero Z1, but it's here too.
I won't go into a long explanation, as I'm not an expert on the subject, but the point is that it is designed to reduce the number of bacteria, and the Novaron ion technology used in MOP serves a similar purpose.
MOP, wet scrubbing
The Roidmi X30 Pro also comes with MOP for wet mopping. This is not a replacement for mopping, but an attempt to facilitate more efficient cleaning. The tank has a capacity of 480ml, and you can fill it with water here.I had a problem with the cloth not getting wet enough, but if it was wet before, the dispensing system based on the capillary principle was able to maintain the level.
While it does not replace mopping, and it is often worth replacing the cloth with a clean one to achieve real efficiency, it is a good addition to vacuuming.
Technology is certainly evolving, and Roidmi's latest vacuum cleaner uses a different solution that promises to be exciting.
The X30 VX uses a motorised mop, which is also self-cleaning with the included station.

The app was not mentioned too much in the video, and for good reason. I didn't feel the need for it and completely forgot it existed. It shows you all the important information you need to know about a vacuum cleaner. Sure, if you're really into calorie tracking, the app is great, but it's not an essential part of using it. The X30 Pro also works with both the Roidmi and Mi Home apps. I covered it in detail in the previous video, you can see it here:
What the X30 Pro does more is adjust the brightness of the display.
Maintenance
Is it worth choosing this instead of a cheaper piece?
Ah yes, the answer everyone was waiting for. Well, you have to take into account what you need and what surfaces and situations you would use it on.
The extra suction power can be nice, but it's not so much more that you should choose the X30 Pro just for that. The accessories and other extra features can make or break that decision.
For me, it's worth it, because the V-shaped brush cleans the carpet better, plus there's the higher suction power, and possibly the MOP and other accessories.
If you're a pet owner and have carpets in your home, I think the X30 Pro is better for you, and if you live in a cleaner home that needs less frequent cleaning, the S2 might be perfect for you.
Summary
The Roidmi X30 Pro is also a great cordless vacuum cleaner. It does everything a vacuum cleaner should do, sucks up dirt, gets rid of pet hair and gets rid of furniture. The pet brush didn't work for me, but it might be a very useful addition for others.
What is perhaps a disadvantage of Roidmi vacuum cleaners is that the battery is not replaceable, so this is definitely something to consider. However, if you use it for its intended purpose, it should be fine for 3-5 years. If it does, Roidmi Hungary can replace it beyond the warranty period, so you don't have to throw it away if the battery breaks.
Or rather, the price. Well, it's not cheap, that's for sure. However, competing manufacturers' products come with similar or inferior features in this price segment, and the cheaper ones don't reach this level.
