MIUI is the world's best-selling Android rewrite with the largest fan base. MIUI is not just an interface, not just a launcher/launcher, but a fundamental rewrite of Android. Its own apps and features go beyond the original Android version, but it still can't be said to have everything other systems have.
MIUI 10's tagline, "Designed for the full screen", signalled the advent of full-screen Xiaomi phones and the replacement of physical buttons. Slowly but surely, MIUI 10 takes full advantage of all the features of today's phones, the full screen, and now not just LCD, but OLED displays.
The Chinese forum has compiled a list of improvements that are already in the Chinese weekly beta rum, or not yet in the Chinese weekly beta rum, but are planned and desired by users. The full list is not published because it is difficult to translate from Chinese and/or not that relevant. The full list is linked at the end of this article.
The first list, which are already included in the MIUI 10 9.3.1 Chinese beta:
- Display the lock screen when unlocking a face, instead of unlocking the device directly and going to the home screen
- New sound effects
- Enhanced Dolby sound effects
- Face unlock and fingerprint scanner working at the same time
- Optimised energy-saving mode
- Wake the screen with voice commands
- Optimised cleaning with one click
- Video album privacy
- Global dark mode
- Vertical text support for photo editing
- Redesigning the App Store user interface
- Charging status and power level displayed on the information screen
- Timer function optimisation
The second list is what to expect in MIUI 10, or the slowly approaching MIUI 11:
- Automatically delete the installation package after installing the application
- False sense of touch reduction

- Image cropping support for 18:9 display
