There have been plenty of rumours about the Redmi 9 read at, and given the trend of previous models, it is high time for the new model to debut.

Twitter user Sudhanshu has been mentioned before, as this is not the first time he has leaked information about unannounced devices. This time it's him again. we can find out virtually all relevant information about incoming calls.

The first and most important news is that there will be 4 devices instead of 2. In addition to the "plain" Redmi 9, there will be 2 Redmi 9Cs, one with NFC and one without NFC, but that's not the only difference between the 2 devices.

Here are the specifications:

  • Mali-G52 graphics accelerator
  • 6.53 inch IPS LCD display
  • 2400*1080 FHD+ resolution
  • 13 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP rear camera combo, LED flash
  • 5 MP front-facing camera
  • 5000 mAh battery
  • 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB of internal memory (of course, there can be more than one version)

Redmi 9C without NFC and NFC:

  • Mali-G31 graphics accelerator
  • 6.53 inch IPS LCD display
  • 1600*720 HD+ resolution
  • NFC: 13 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP rear camera combo, LED flash
Without NFC: 13 MP + 2 MP rear camera combo, LED flash
  • 5 MP front-facing camera
  • 5000 mAh battery
  • 3 GB RAM + 64 GB internal memory (of course, there can be more than one version of this)
  • Dual nano SIM slot
  • Expandable up to 512 GB with Micro SD card
  • Fingerprint scanner, accelerometer sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, infra-port
  • USB Type-C connector
  • 3.5 mm jack connector

Redmi 9A:

  • MediaTek Helio G25 processor
  • Mali-G31 graphics accelerator
  • 6.53-inch IPS LCD display, 1600*720 HD+ resolution
  • 13 MP rear camera, LED flash
  • 5 MP front-facing camera
  • 5000 mAh battery
  • 3 GB of RAM + 32 GB of internal memory (of which there can also be more than one version)
  • Dual nano SIM slot
  • Expandable up to 512 GB with Micro SD card
  • Fingerprint scanner, accelerometer sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, infra-port
  • USB Type-C connector
  • 3.5 mm jack connector

Prices:

Redmi 9: 160-180 euros, ~55-62 thousand HUF
Redmi 9C: 130-150 euros, ~45-52 thousand HUF
Redmi 9A: 100-120 euros, ~35-41 thousand HUF

For the Redmi 9C 2 variant, the source said the price range is the same, so there probably won't be much difference between the 2 products. The Redmi 9C can be classified somewhere between the 9A and 9 and, although the source doesn't mention NFC in the Redmi 9 specs, but, if the 9C will have an NFC version, hopefully the Redmi 9 will too (and maybe only one), it would make sense. In any case, it means that this could be the first Redmi series to finally feature NFC-enabled devices in its lineup.

According to the Twitter user, the ominous smartphones will soon be available worldwide. This information is leaked, and although it seems realistic, it should of course be treated with caution. As soon as the devices are released, we will of course report on them.
