The leakster Xiaomiui always finds something in the MIUI source code, and this is what happened this time: it turns out that 13 new Xiaomi devices might be coming, and we even know what specifications they will have - but these are just rumours, so treat them with caution!

The code names of the devices are:

  • evergo

  • evergreen

  • zeus

  • cupid

  • psyche

  • pissaro

  • pissaropro

  • cygnus

  • bestla

  • hyacinth

  • divine

  • lepus

  • mercury

cygnus

  • 90Hz display
  • 108MP HMX main camera
  • Ultra-wide angle camera
  • 5x phone photo
  • Under-display selfie camera

bestla

  • 64MP GW3 main camera

hyacinth

  • 120Hz display
  • 108MP HMX triple camera

divine

  • 90Hz display
  • 64MP GW3 main camera
  • 0.5x ultra-wide angle camera
  • 5x phone photo
  • Under-display selfie camera

lepus

  • 90Hz display
  • 50MP GN3 main camera
  • Ultra-wide angle camera
  • 5x phone photo
  • Under-display selfie camera

mercury

  • 120Hz display
  • 12MP pixel binning main camera
  • Ultra-wide angle camera
  • 5x phone photo

As you can see, some devices may have a selfie camera under the display. We have seen this technology in other manufacturers, but there have been problems with it.

Interesting that these phones have a 90Hz display, compared to the others where it is 120Hz

Not all phones, tablets can be among them. This of course remains to be seen, and it is unlikely to be the high-end tablets that have been rumoured before.

13, as MIUI 13?

I don't know about you guys, but I find this a bit interesting, because the next major MIUI version will be MIUI 13. It may be a coincidence, but it may not be.

Do you think it is lucky to have so many devices on the market? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to provide adequate support for the existing fleet? Or is there no innovation without it?
