I'm coming to the end of the introduction and test of the Xiaomi Mi Vacuum-Mop Essential, and there's only one part left to do, the maintenance. I've covered everything about it in the video above, maybe even more than I should have, but the full picture can only be put together like this.
The Essential vacuum cleaner IS good for everything, it vacuums and wipes up. But not everything about it is milk, the price reflects the shortcomings that the big ones don't have. Software has few options for control, almost all formal and informal, but there are a few options.
I can recommend the device to anyone, but a few things need to be clarified first. Preferably, you should take it home to an apartment that is not cluttered, without a lot of obstacles between walls and furniture. But as I mentioned in the tutorial, you need to pack up before vacuuming anyway, so that the vacuum cleaner cleans properly. It doesn't have laser and optical mapping hardware, it goes to everything on the ground and draws its map based on that, its software plans its path based on that, where to go.
There is no zone cleaning, no NO-GO zone, no NO-MOP zone, so the vacuum can do a full clean every time unless you manually direct it where you want it to go and do a "spot" clean. Simple as wood, but not. It's got an advanced mopping system, with 3 levels of water volume and 4 levels of suction power. If you're not on Turbo, it will detect you're on the carpet and activate Turbo. Red dot!
Not so recommended for small apartments, it has difficulty getting into small spaces, once it has gone around the room it clears up other spaces with a zig-zag movement and sometimes there is too little space to do the manoeuvre and it just wanders around sometimes. But that shouldn't scare anyone away, it's fun the way he tries every cm2 to keep the owner happy. It will clean up everywhere!
