I was still hanging out with this one article after the Mi Note 10 Lite premiere, but I already said then that it's not a new image sensor, it's been through 1000+ tests. But it's not just this one component that determines the quality of a photo. There's the processing engine and the software that coordinates it all.

Summary

Overall, I was pleased with the Note 10 Lite's camera system, and like all cameras, it performs excellently in normal light. Image processing time is also good, and the 64 MP Sony sensor produces the best possible images in all conditions. Macro shots are impressive, but I still don't understand why the video recording in 2020 is so choppy. The microphone is picking up a lot of noise, you can't hear it in the videos above, so I'll cut in a snippet:

At night, in low light, I had no doubts about the Sony quality, although you need to select night mode for better results. But in those conditions you have to hold on pretty hard before it captures everything and stitches the image together. I forgot to write at the end of the night shot that the selfie was taken with the selfie camera, hence the blurry image. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, I couldn't figure out why it turned out like that... Well, next time.
