Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s advertisement with a screening of the movie Ring of Fire 2: Rebellion!

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is less than a week away from its launch. From the recent ads of Chris Wu and the Mix 2s, we can already see the outline of the phone, only from the front, but it's clear that there's no small island in the top right corner. Ring of Fire 2 and Mi Mix 2s.

The film and the visuals suggest that the new Mix will be buffalo strong, as we already know that the proci Snapdragon 845 memory will probably be at least 8GB, so there's no game that won't run with this configuration.

At the end of the Ring of Fire 2 presentation, you can see a render of the phone, which looks exactly the same as its predecessor. There's a thicker cavity at the bottom for the sensors and camera, and a thinner one at the edges and top. Compared to the Mix 2, it's not clear whether it's thinner or the same size. However, an unknown lock screen background hints at a new theme we may get with the release of the Mix 2s, if the legal issues with the EU are sorted out by then.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is expected to feature a Full Screen 3.0 design with a 5.99″ diagonal screen. The resolution will be FHD+ with an aspect ratio of 18:9, which is exactly 2160 x 1080 pixels. We also expect wireless charging like the Mi7 and Android 8.0 based MIUI9-will run.
