All secrets come out, sooner or later. It's no different with Xiaomi products, either from prominent bloggers leaking information, or from insider workers, but often from the manufacturer itself. We already know almost everything about the products that will be unveiled tomorrow (31 May). Xiaomi is preparing for another memorable event this time around, with a number of interesting events to celebrate its 8th anniversary. We can start with the Mi 8, as it will be the first notch Xiaomi phone with true 3D face unlocking, supported in hardware as the first Android smartphone.
So the AI-enhanced front and rear cameras not only stand out from the crowd in terms of quality, but also in terms of safety.
The unveiling of the Mi 7 is still in question, as there are several conflicting reports in the press. Of course, you can link to domestic or foreign articles, but until the product is officially confirmed, everything is speculation.
The Mi 8 is said to have jumped model numbers because it will have so many world firsts that it is considered worthy of the name. And so it can be linked to the 8th anniversary. Yes, but then why is the Mi 8 SE being released? And with inferior hardware. According to yesterday's news, it might get the new Snapdragon 710 SoC.
So what's definitely new on the Mi 8 will be the notch, 3D face unlock with hardware support, and dual GPS modules. However, the fingerprint scanner under the display remains a question mark. Several images released recently show the sensor on the back.

The poser suggests the Mi 8 SE will be smaller and more angular, but the notch will remain.

And here's the inside of one of the Mi Stores in progress, with a picture of the Mi 8 already on the wall. The fingerprint scanner on the back is clearly visible. :(

No need to talk about pricing for the moment, let's wait for a definite announcement. However, we would be happy if the B20 proves to be true Kornél's reasoning.
