This would not be the first time Xiaomi has launched a phone in China under a different name in another country or continent. It started with the Redmi 5 Plus - Redmi Note 5 India version, followed by the recent Xiaomi CC9e - Xiaomi Mi A3 replica.
So, after the launch of the Mi A3, everyone was waiting for the CC9, called Mi A3 Pro, to be released to Android One fans in Europe and around the world. But it seems that this will either not materialize or only later.

Mishaal Rahman, Editor-in-Chief of XDA-developer.com, found the latest, in the list produced by Google, which is the list of Android compatible phones, the Xiaomi CC9 (pyxis) has been given a new name: Mi 9 Lite.
So the CC9 is still only coming to Europe, as the Lite version of the Mi 9 family. It has not yet been revealed whether it will come with exactly the same hardware specs or will suffer some changes as the Mi A3. Xiaomi CC9 is already covered here, if you haven't already read what the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite will do.
