First of all, I wish all our readers a Merry Christmas! After a short break, we will continue to bring you Xiaomi news, as it's not Christmas in China, so they are constantly working and developing. One of these new developments has been discovered in the XDA by our colleagues, slightly disassembling the new Chinese MIUI 11 developer ROM.
Sometimes software developers work in advance before deploying certain features, the code is already in the current apk file but not yet available, due to hardware or Android base differences, but you can still reverse engineer what it wants to be. So we managed to sneak out of the Chinese beta rom the new screen calibration page for MIUI 11, which gives you even more options for setting up advanced screens.
New MIUI 11 feature details
The new on-screen calibration page has been slightly expanded with new features such as available options for the colour gamut: Enhanced, Original, P3 and sRGB. In addition, sliders have been added for individual control of the red, green and blue colours of the RGB colour gamut, adjustment of hue, saturation and HSV gamut values, as well as contrast and gamma control.
For now, the new configuration options will appear in the Chinese developer ruins and the custom ruins based on them. The release date for the Global line and stable ruins is still unknown.
