Mijia has unveiled its new 1.5 litre smart cooking pot with community funding.

The cooker has a power of 1000 watts and is able to heat up quickly, which significantly increases the cooking speed. According to the company, it boils 1 litre of water in 6 minutes. It also has a low power mode, in which the appliance provides between 300 and 800 watts of power.

It supports steaming, simmering and boiling, and users can choose from 50 popular pre-programmed recipes in the app. Everything is automatic: just insert the ingredients and the machine does the rest. The app can also be controlled remotely, as we've seen before.

A double design has been used: two toppings can be used, one of which is a smaller dish and the other a larger one. This design makes it suitable for more than one use.

The control knob has an OLED display. The smart cooking pot is equipped with ultra-high temperature protection and the inside of the bowl is made of non-stick stainless steel.

The smart cooking pot will be available in China after 15 September, but there is no global version yet, so it is unlikely to arrive in the near future.
